Lesley has dedicated her life to supporting young children and their families. With over 35 years of experience in early childhood development, she brings a deep understanding of both clinical practice and the real-life challenges of parenting.
Her career started as part of a multidisciplinary developmental pediatric team at the Children’s Medical Center in Tulsa, where she worked closely with physicians, speech pathologists, and other clinical providers to help families navigate complex developmental and behavioral needs. She later created the CARE Program at the Laura Dester Shelter, delivering critical early intervention to children in crisis.
In 2016, Lesley founded Sprouts Child Development, a nonprofit that grew into a trusted statewide resource, offering developmental screenings, therapy services, and a clinic specializing in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
Today, she leads Next Step Child Development, helping families recognize developmental concerns and find the right path forward—whether through school services, private therapy, supportive home strategies, or other identified services.
Lesley is known for her thoughtful, down-to-earth approach. She meets families where they are, offering the clarity and encouragement they need to feel confident in taking their next step.
